hi guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !!

 

Today I had a gig for the first time in a while at Akasaka Omusubi Jazz .

Today we had piano, bass ( me) , 3 horns and vocals

I’m happy that I finally performed in public .  Appreciate for this opportunity.

I also sang three songs . It’s really rare that I sing Japanese old songs . !! Lol first time ever !

 

and I was really missing here’s curry !

yum…. ♪

 

 

I will have another gig at the end of month which is soul live .

after that, actually I don’t have any other gigs so far .  So please come see me if you are around : )!

Today I had a performance at a bar called Omusubi Jazz Akasaka.

I like this bar’s curry . When I play here I always order it . I forgot to take a picture of it tho .

I sang several old school songs .

The percussionist Tatsuya-san has a nice sense !!

I was so comfortable to play with him .

my new gear …

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m  a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

I’ve got a good news few days ago .   Kikuchi- san told me my 5 strings is done !!!

Yeyyyyyyyyy!!!!! That looks soon cute !!!!! Isn’t it !?!?

When they offered me to be an  endorsor for Sadowsky, actually I asked them to give me 5 strings but there was no 5 strings at the distributor Okada International . So they ended up to make new one for me .  It’s so sweet , I really appreciate for their support .

I do love to use 4 strings but also there are too many songs that I wanna play with 5 strings . So I’m gonna use both of them a lot .  Now feels like I’m so ready , I have nothing to fear to go far !!!Thanks Sei san, Kikuchi san!

My first show to use the 5 strings will be on September 16 th, my CD release event ; ) Come down !

 

At night I had a performance at Omusubi jazz Akasaka.

Today there were 3 vocalists includes me .

It was the first time to meet with the guitar&vocalist Tak san.

According to the owner , he has full score of TOEIC !!lol genius .

TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI recording

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I had a recording of  TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI .

I brought my buddy Sadowsky SLAP MASTER.

We recorded only one cover song and we’re gonna have a shooting tomorrow .

Always exited to have shamisen (a.k.a. drum strings according Shinobu Kawashima).

People think shamisen is Japanese traditional instrument but Shinobu can handle all of genre , so we normally play funk / soul music with her.

It was such a nice recording .

 

And at night , I had a performance at Omusubi jazz in Akasaka , Tokyo.

Some people said my one-piece dress looks nice !

Omusubi jazz Akasaka

 

 

 

 

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !!

Today I had a rehearsal for my album recording .

This is guitar player TAKOYAKI and keyboard player De-Hi .

The rest one song , I chose kinda programming drum ( loop) , so only me and the member . They always give me some new ideas . Always appreciate that .

 

And at night I had a performance at Omusubi Jazz Akasaka with this member.

It was my firs time to play with the guitar player called Iwa- Chan .

He uses a loop machine . So that helped  us to perform: )

NHK radio

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I had a opened recording for an radio program named Anigetchu organized by NHK.

It’s a radio program, but also we performed several songs for the opened recording.

Today’s MiMi ‘s drum solo was incredible ! I’m so proud of her .

That was a fun moment !

Today I had a performance at Omusubi Jazz Akasaka .

It was the first time I met the pianist Inari-san .

With his piano , I was comfortable to sing .  

And it’s been a while since I and the vocalist Hide sing together ! 

We duet IF I AIN’T GOT YOU . I do love his voice ! Super sexy !!

I ate KAMAMESHI there . 

It was sooooo yum !!

I do love to eat  curry here but also KAMAMESHI is dope !
