METAL MATSURI @ 02 Academy , Islington , London , England

 

 

 

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !!

This is my breakfast at the hotel .

I alway try to stay healthy especially when I’m on a tour . So I didn’t pick up any bread this time , but I saw many people have so many breads on their plate .

The  I was wondering how derizious it is . So I tried !

 

Wooooooooow it’s soooooo good !!

I might take it tomorrow too ♪

 

 

Today we performed at the metal festival called METAL MATSURI at 02 Academy Islington in London , England .

Today ‘ s setlist is all instrumental songs mostly from Rie’s new album .

Actually the sound checking for us  was quite short and we almost checked nothing … ; ( So we needed to check while we perform on the stage but it got better little bye little .

There were  Rie’s funs who came from Japan too !

We all played a lot of solo .  I really liked today’s my slap sound ; )!

Hope you guys enjoyed our performance !!

We really wanna come back to London soon ; ) !!!

Yuru jam @ Akasaka Jakaz

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I was hosting a jam session at Akasaka Jakaz.

Everyone can sit in , the level , skill , doesn’t matter !!

Today was kinda special …..

A young talented guitar girl came to jam !!

She is the daughter of my previous student .

I’ve heard about her from my student . So I already knew she can play the guitar well.

But she was much greater than I expected !! She is still 9 or 10 years old but she can handle cords , and also guitar solo . I’m so impressed . Everyone got shocked !!

 

I played drums a song too !

Always fun to play the other instruments ; )

Today I had a gig of a amazing female guitar player called Rie a.k.a. Suzaku.

She released her own best album recently . It’s all guitar instrumental song.

Young talented drum girl .

 

 

 

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !!

 

Today I had a rehearsal for Rie a.k.a.Suzaku .

 

We’re gonna play only instrumental songs on the 12th August .

The drummer Kanade Sato is still high school student . It’s been a while since we played together .

She ‘s improving every single time ! I’m always impressed by her incredible drum play .

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita

 

Today I had a performance for the event of guitarists.

There are 4 guitar players . They all are great .

Today’s drummer , Shun ; )  Most songs are very fast !! But he exactly made it !! Great drummer .

We played many songs . Mostly metal, but some fusion too .

That was a fun session gig .

Probably the event will take place in July again : )

Rie a.k.a. Suzaku birthday @Yotsuya Outbreak

 

 

 

Hey guys!!     　I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!! 

Today I had a performance for a badass guitar player Rie a.k.a. Suzaku!! This is her birthday gig . 

I performed as the member of her instrumental band.

I’ve played with Rie since I was 20 years old.

Then I wasn’t  ready for as her bass guitar player I think..

Her songs were just too difficult for me ; ( lol!!

I’m still working on it but I can say now I’m much better than then. I could learn a lot as a bass guitar player from her songs. Really appreciate for it.

And  I’m so glad that I am kinda her first-call now. ; )

I’m gonna perform with Rie next month too. I have to get better than today !!

Rie a.k.a. Suzaku @ Silver Elephant

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

Today I had a performance with a guitar player Rie a.k.a. Suzaku at Silver Elephant Kichijoji. This is the progressive rock event.

Many people came to see the show . To be honest , I didn’t expect there are so many progressive rock fans in Japan. The live music club was packed from the beginning till the end.

We played some fusion songs besides progressive rock song.

I think my slap got a little better. I’ve been slapping with 5 strings a lot these days.

I already have some schedules to play with Rie again !!

Frankly speaking , I couldn’t afford to enjoy the performance before because her songs are so difficult !but about today, I can say I was enjoying that !

It’s getting so fun to play with Rie each time .

I can’t wait to the next : )

Rie a.k.a. Suzaku @ Shimokitazawa LIVEHOLIC

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I had a gig with a dope guitar player Rie a.k.a. Suzaku at Shimokitazawa LIVEHOLIC.

The act is   ASTERISM / D_ Drive / Rie a.k.a. Suzaku

Usually there is no chance people can see the  three incredible female guitar players at the same time!! Yuki(D_Drive) ,  HAL-CA(ASTERIZM), Rie a.k.a. Suzaku.

That must be wonderful night .

The live music club was packed from beginning till the end . We couldn’t even move to the stage easily .

I appreciate Rie chose me as the member of Rie a.k.a. Suzaku Special Band. : )

We performed several instrumental music songs and played a lot of solo parts too.

Afterward the vocalist NANA showed up on the stage and we played some metal vocal songs .

It’s been a long time I play metal music .

I was gonna forget how to head-banging ..but I practiced at the rehearsal studio before the gig ; D

According to Rie , I looked like Robert Trujillo(Metallica )because of my long hair . lol    That’s what’s up !

Now I realized my black long hair is for playing metal music . : D

 

Those are gifted by one of Rie’s fans .

What do you think it is ?

all of them are actually cakes ! lol  I can’t believe it , who came up with this idea…lol

I ate a deep-fried pork cutlet rice bowl .  Yes, it was so sweet ; )

When I checked it out , it was over 17 minutes !  That was so interesting , appreciate ; )

SOFP@Yokosuka base ~ jam

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I had a performance at Yokosuka base with this cute ladies .

It was really nice weather , we really enjoyed to perform  there.

 

We played both cover song and original songs.

I also sang one song ; )
