Bad dream ?

 

 

 

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !

 

Recently I can’t fall a sleep well.  If once I got sleep , I don’t get up easily , but just get sleep is difficult and kinda stressed me out ; (

I used to start sleep in the morning and got up like noon . But I wanna reset my life time wanna go to bed and wake up healthier like 11:30 pm to 5:30am.

 

Also I have a lot of dream . Today’s my dream was , I’ve started Skype lesson officially . But , I got late 7 minutes to the lesson . The people around him ( one of my students ) got really mad at me . And even when I got on a plane , all passenger pointed me  and said 『She got 7 minutes late for his lesson ! 』something like that …

sorry that I got late … seems like my name will be changed to “ 7 minutes – late “ .

I hope I will not get late to lessons after I officially start online lessons .

 

 

Btw today I was practicing drums a little bit . I ‘m working on 16 beats hi-hat .

Always have sooooo many songs that I wanna play the drums . But most of them are 16 hi hat . I really can’t handle that…

it’s still difficult , but I can tell I’m much better than yesterday  . That gives me motivation for keep going : )!

 

my next live streaming JUNA’s BASStream vol.2 , I might play the drums only one song … I don’t promise , but I’m trying to prepare for that … I’m pretty sure I’ll get seriously nervous . Lol

but I do love to challenge!

my new gear …?

 

 

 

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Well…. Since I’ve been stuck at home…  too many ideas come up with.

Also .. there are too many things that I wanna get …

 

This is….

What do you guess ?

 

it’s electric drums !! lol

 

Still the good thing is , I have RAKUTEN(online store )card , and I got many points , so I bought by points . but it’s about 400 USD.

I don’t  know  why,  I don’t have job right now at all but I ‘m kinda buying stuff so often (last month I bought guitar with 100 USD).

When I told my mom I got new equipment which is drums  , she told me seems like I am rich.  Of course not . lol you can imagine how difficult this corona situation is  for regular musicians, not stars  .

but I’m kinda thinking , this is really good time to get my chops up . So I’m trying to start new things as much as possible. Then , I can get the money back when I nailed it.

 

Also today I brought my Fender bass guitar to repair.

I mainly use Sadowsky SLAP MASTER , but sometimes like especially when I play old school , not slap ,I need to use this .

I might use this one for a recording this month , so I went to fix.

I’m excited to hear the new sound : ) can’t wait to see the result !!

Today I was jamming at the studio with this drummer ! Ivanue

We met at Sugar Bar a few days ago . It was really fun jam. He plays the bass guitar too. So we switched our parts too lol

He has a lot of vocabulary musically . I ‘m so impressed .

Yuru jam @ Akasaka Jakaz

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m  a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I was hosting a jam session called Yuru Jam at Akasaka Jakaz.

“Yurui ” means not strict in Japanese.  Yuru-Jam is the session that everyone can enjoy . The level doesn’t matter .

I played the bass guitar of  course .

 

I sang some songs too as a vocalist .

And also I played the drums . lol

Many musicians came to jam today too !  Appreciate .

I assure the person who enjoyed most is me ! lol

Next month we all are kinda busy , so next Yuru-Jam is in July . July 18th.

Drum& bass session

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m  a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I and the drummer Yuki Hatano had a jam at the studio.

We got know  each other at Giga bar Tokyo. I think we’ve performed together 4 or 5 times?

But the interesting thing is , I noticed many things I’ve never noticed about his drums/personality . He is so funny .

Now feels like he is a good friend.

Oh he gave me a Xmas cake !

After that we had a performance at Giga bar Tokyo.

I played mostly rock music here today.

These days I like to play the bass guitar with rear .

Today I was hosting jam session at Shimokitazawa RPM in Tokyo with the dope member .

Many musicians came there , thanks !! I enjoyed both playing with you guys and also just listening .

From beginning till the end , there were only live conversations through instruments.

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I had a rehearsal for my band which has debut show on July 1st !!

 

That was such a funny rehearsal !!! I couldn’t believe that was the first time that we played together .

I was too excited , that made me have good motivations .  Kenny said to me I should have a boyfriend because I have too much energy .lol

I can’t wait to perform with these badass players !!

We had a coup of beer after the rehearsal.

yolis birthday live@ Hyphen Jiyugaoka

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I had a gig with my most favorite singer yolis !!!!

member :

vocal : yolis

keyboard : Gakushi

bass:  Juna Serita

drums : Takao Toshiyuki

dance: Maiko

This is yolis ‘s birthday live!! I don’t know her age yet in spite of the fact that she is my best friend , but probably 20 years old or something , maybe next year too !! ; )

Many people came there !! A person talked to me this gig was much better than the last gig , shouldn’t be compared .  yey yey ; ) I really enjoyed the last gig too but this time I was like over the moon !

We performed around 14 songs including encore song. we really haven’t expected the audience ask us to play one more song , so we just jammed and yolis raped . That was such a special moment in my life.

The keyboard player Gakushi is the  best keyboard player I’ve ever seen in Japan !!  I’m so glad that finally I could play with him . from rehearsals he always leaded me to better performance.  Then I realized how bandmaster should be , how great he is.

Anyway , HAPPY BIRTHDAY my sis yolis!!!!!   I’m always proud of you .

The owner  gave us a glass of wine ; )   Thanks ; )

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !!

 

Today I had a rehearsal for a singer song writer called yolis with this member !!

member

Vocal :yolis

Bass: Juna Serita

Keyboard : Gakushi

Drums : Toshiyuki Takao

 

We will performa on June 23rd at hyphen Jiyugaoka. 　It’ll be my second time to perform with the badass singer yolis!!!  She is my most favorite Japanese singer and also my best friend ; ) You can find her songs on apple music !! My most favorite songs are Getto Queen / Alice in a miller / I love you girl . : )!! My TOP 3!!

 

And … I’m huge fan of the keyboard player Gakushi actually !! His playing is awesome, I couldn’t stop grinning while we’re playing songs because of his dope groove !!!!!!!

 

The drummer Toshiyuki Takao, I really enjoyed to play with his drums  and pads !! He is lefty and his setting is kinda special according to Gakushi. Today’s rehearsal studio was kinda tiny. So he couldn’t set his drum as usual but he was still so great !

We will have one more rehearsal before the gig. I’m looking forward to playing with them again !!!

 

BTW I ran into a bass guitar player OKAPY  on the way to the rehearsal !!

I do love her playing and her personality of course this pretty face too ♪

Our characters are opposite I guess . She is always bright like a sun and positive thinking.  She has many good points that I don’t have . So I love and respect her ; )!! What a coincidence ♪

She made my feeling good all day ; )!!!thanks.

Wanted !!

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

What’s up peeps ? I’ve been keeping quite busy .

As you know, I’m forming my own band !! And the 1st gig is on July 1st .

We had the first meeting a few days ago !!

Guitar Ryan Carter and Drums Kenny Mosley !!

Of course I know both of them but it was their first time to meet  each other .

That was such a funny meeting !! lol  I completely  realized I chose the BEST members !! The band will be fantastic , I’m pretty sure . ; D

 

Anyway , I was thinking about the new name , because just “Juna Serita Band ”is too normal , nothing special ,right?

We came up with an idea , seemed like they love the name ! but in the case if you have a nice idea about the band name , please let me know ♪♪
