Lol I think ….  we kinda look similar , like she also has long hair , I also has long hair , we both play the bass , we both are Asian.

but when I added my video next to her , I noticed like , she is really bright and I am really dark ! lol

I always love to see not only her bass performance , but also her bass face . I can tell she really enjoy it !! I hope I will be bright side one day too… ; ( !!lol

Today TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI had a gig at Shrine , Harlem NY!!

Shamisen player Shinobu also joined us ; )!!

This was our final show in NYC.

After the show , I and Shinobu and Emi  went to Cafe wha? because my favorite guy is playing tonight !!

He is the person who made me into NYC ♪♪  I always enjoyed to see his performance also jam with him !!

America day 42〜NY〜

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today we went to The Groove again for jam session.

Juna , Yuriko, Emi, Shinobu played one song there . After the performance many people talked us , thanks !!

 

After that , we went to the other venue . This event is called Producer Monday . NY top musicians are gathered .

We also performed a song here.

And we’re really glad many peeps share our live video , also talking to us !! NY is actually really warm city ; ) !!

America tour day 5 ~Anaheim ~

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

 

Today I had All-Female -Bass player – Meeting !! lol

MJ, Brittany Frompovich, Keiko Gutierrez, Liza Carbe , Nalani, Kirby Barber, Mandy K Shuch

I’m really happy they invite me . Thanks !!

They are from , Canada, Texas , Nashville , California , Virginia, Japan (me ) etc..

It was really nice opportunity to share our difference of music business in our area .

I really enjoyed the meeting and hopefully I can come next year? again  !

 

And in the evening my friend Rie a.k.a.Suzaku ended up to perform at a booth . So I came see her .

She did great job as usual , and I’m so proud of her !!

Well , there are many female guitar player (can be shred type ), but she is totally stand out musically  in my opinion .  I always think she deserve to go much farther . Sooner or later people will notice ; ) !

And then I headed to LA.

since today my LA life starts ! maybe I’ll be here for 20 days? or can be little bit longer . Not sure yet .

I became a endorser of Sadowsky .

 

 

 

Hey guy!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

I’m happy to announce about this .

I became a endorser of Sadowsky !

One day, Okada International which is Japanese distributor of Sadowsky  was looking for a endorser for their new bass model called SLAP MASTER .

The bass guitar is focused on slapping , so they were looking for such a great slapper .

And I really appreciate for the great opportunity . And really thanks to Kayo-san who introduced me to them and showed some of my videos to them . She is also great bass guitar player .

To be honest, I was a little surprised because I like slapping as much as finger picking but   I didn’t mean I’m good at slapping , I didn’t know .

However if they think I’m a great slapper , it makes me  motivated a lot to slap !!

Well …  you know I was looking for something special on my bass play and always wondering what my strength is .

Feels like now I kinda understand that must  be slapping through  this SLAP MASTER . : ) !!!

So I’m so excited to build my career with this gear !!!

I recorded my solo album with this bass guitar too.

Today I had a performance at Giga Bar Tokyo in Minami-Aoyama.

lol This is the keyboard player . And it’s too dark…. Can you find me on this pic ; )?

 

This year’s my target is , having done all songs for here.( About 250songs . I think I’ve done over 200 now)

 

Last month I didn’t work here often , so this month I work here more.

KINLAY @ What the Dickens !

 

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m  a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I performed for KINLAY at What the Dickens ! in Ebisu, Tokyo.

They have a regular bass player called Yukako but the vocalist Andy Kinlay offered me to play together few days ago.

When  I asked him how many songs we’re gonna play, then he said “only few , don’t worry “.  So I expected like 5 or 6,… maximum 10 . but……

Daaaamn  !!　30 songs is not “only few ” and most songs are his original !! And no chart !! lol  (There ware only 3 cover songs I already know .lol)

But it’s okay … I can’t believe but I DID remember all songs  through only one night …lol

Feels like now I can do everything.!! lol   Thanks Andy, you gave me some confidence .

That was so much fun . hot!!

Tokyo Brass Style in Kitami day 1

 

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !!

 

I’m in Hokkaido now ! i.

It’s not as cold as I expected . Just comfy ; )

Tomorrow we’re gonna have a concert here and at the 2nd set Tokyo Brass Style and students will collaborate !!

So for that, today Tokyo Brass Style had a clinic for junior high school and high school students in Kitami.

 

It’s my first time to meet bass guitar players with this project after I joined the band Tokyo Brass Style !!!

I’m so happy about it .  The one is high school student and the other one is junior high school student ; )

They are great bass guitar players. I almost had nothing to say !!

So tomorrow , I’m count on them and gonna play tambourine two song !! That’s gonna be exciting…♪

Today I was hosting jam session at Shimokitazawa RPM in Tokyo with the dope member .

Many musicians came there , thanks !! I enjoyed both playing with you guys and also just listening .

From beginning till the end , there were only live conversations through instruments.

After the jam session , we had tequila：）

Healthy life….

 

 

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Recently I was slacked about everything . Especially about the health .  

My schedules were so hectic , so I couldn’t afford to think of myself . My life style was not good these days . Like  I take 3 cup of coffee a day (for me it’s not good thing, which means I count on coffee too much without sleeping ), I eat only doughnut a day(That was only sometime tho. this i.e. because no time.) , something like that.

So , I thought I should take foods which can make my body better !!! I meant , not only snacks lol

Today’s Juna ’s Kitchen !!

・Stir fried meat and vegetables (potato , onions ,beans )

・Miso soup which has to-fu and seaweed 

I can cook only  something easy when I have lots on my plate….  

It was still nice ; ) I used olive oil / pepper salt  as seasonings .

I usually upload my cooking picts on my instagram’s story . Check it out ;  )

The reason is that I’m gonna perform with new artist that I haven’t played with ever .

 

Anyway  I have to keep to have my good motivation whole month !!! Because I wanna play better !!
