Today I had a performance of TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI .

Today’s guest player is Sarah Maeda ! She is so funky and soulful !!

Every single time when I play with her , I get a lot of energy from her play .

This live restaurant is in Haneda airport , so it’s kinda inconvenience area, but appreciate for coming see us !

With this member , we’re gonna have a show on the November 16 th .

TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI @ Utsunomiya

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI  has two shows in Utsunomiya!!

It’s actually not too far fromTokyo. Maybe two hours from Tokyo by a car ?

 

The first show is at a jazz festival called Miya Jazz.

We didn’t have any time for sound checking , but I think it went alright  .

Some people talked to me they saw my video of Marcus Miller songs on youtube ! lol  Thanks .

Today’s guest player is the sax player Sakamackey !

We met in Utsunoiya when TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI had a debut live here.

Utsunomiya has great music scene , that is why we love here.!

Thanks for having us and we really enjoyed it .

 

 

At night we had a solo show in Indulz Dream .

It’s around 5 months since we came here first time .

We are always inspired by his awesome play !!

We played two sets here .  I’m happy that people told us they like our vocal too ; ) ! I’m trying to be better each time ..

After the show, we had kinda after-party ♪

Indulzdream has great foods , that’s also the reason we have shows at the venue when we come to Utsunomiya ; )

Bacchus

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

This is the bass guitar one of my students brought to the lesson . It is Marcus Miller model made by Bacchus. 

I tried a little bit but actually it sounds great in spite of the fact it’s so cheap !

For me now I don’t need a fence but this is a nice bass guitar .  If you are looking for a new bass guitar which isn’t too expensive , I can recommend that ; )

 

After lessons ,   I had a rehearsal of TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI .

We ‘re gonna have shows in Utsunomiya tomorrow. That is the place that we debut . Feels like our hometown !

We had a meeting for tomorrow after the rehearsal . We came to Okinawa restaurant / bar .  I haven’t got enough opportunities to have Okinawa foods in my life but I really loved it !!!

As a result , I ate too much ….lol

Today is TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI producer ‘s birthday !

His name is Kaneko-san. TGJ management is his side business , but his actual job is making TV program : )

There were so many people  . We knew how much he is loves by peeps .

 

TOKYO GROOVE JYISHI performed three songs .

Ayu Kang Hokkaido Tour day 5

 

 

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m  a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

Today is Ayu Kang Hokkaido tour final day !!!

We had a dinner show in Monbetsu.

The live information appeared on the newspaper ! In fact , the ticket got sold out!! Appreciate for their support .

I think our performance gets better every single day .

We all think today’s performance was best among the tour .

I’m happy that finally I  memorized all of Ayu Kang ‘s song .

The moment should be our start line, and I’ m so excited with playing  as Ayu Kang Trio more often ; )!

Ayu Kang Trio Hokkaido tour day 3

 

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !!

 

This is the salmon roe I ate for lunch ♪♪ I’m over the moon ♪♪

 

This is the 3rd day of Ayu Kang Trio Hokkaido tour !

We had a show at Onion Holl in Kitami!

Actually our stuff were shooting video too . So I guess the video will be on youtube or added on M card or something !

There was a SORAMIMI ‘s fan ! I’m surprised .

( In the case if you don’t know what SORAMIMI is…  SORAMIMI is the all female pop band I was in .

We collaborated with high school students in Kitami !!

They all did really great !! I’m so proud of them.  Our producer was gonna almost cry !!

We are so happy to come here . Thanks everyone !

I hope we’re gonna be back soooooon!!!!!

 

 

 

At night  a TV show called UTAGE! on aired . I didn’t check it out ’cause I was having dinner .

But if you checked it out, you saw the gospel singer TiA from New York on the TV.

 

The information of her Christmas special show got released today !

I’ll be a part of her band member on the 3 days !  She is chosen as “most successful / worldwide  Japanese people “. She is miracle , you will realize when you see her performance ! The special show is expected the tickets will be sold out  quit soon ! you should get right now !

Ayu Kang Trio Hokkaido tour day 2

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

This is the 2nd day of Ayu Kang Trio Hokkaido tour .

We had a solo gig at Okoppe Beetle.

This place has the grand piano , lovely .

Some people talked to me Juna & MiMi ‘s rhythm section is the best !

I’m so happy to hear that ’cause I always feel comfortable to play with MiMi, and also love to play with Ayu Kang !!

I think this member is coolest !

After the gig , we had a party to have crabs !!!!

Wooooow too delicious !! We really focused on it  and almost forgot to talk ! lol

Kang Ayu Piano Trio

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I had a solo show of Ayu Kang Trio at Yotsuya Moebius.

We all are the member of TOKYO BRASS STYLE . So this project is called ” Brass Style side project ” but I’m pretty sure Ayu Kang is a great pianist / keyboardist and the style is totally different with TOKYO BRASS STYLE. Even you don’t know TBS you will be able to  enjoy this performance .

Today we have a guest sax player Misaki Yamoto !

She is so cool and gave us some new essence ; ) !

We played Kan-chan’s original songs and also cover songs.

At the encore , Kan-chan played by herself (I and Mimi were just listening to it ).  The song named ALONE had a dramatic melody and I really loved it !!

I’m so happy to be involved in her trio band . Thanks .

First Abbey Road Shop

I bought several picks  as souvenir for my lovely students .

METAL MATSURI @ 02 Academy , Islington , London , England

 

 

 

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !!

This is my breakfast at the hotel .

I alway try to stay healthy especially when I’m on a tour . So I didn’t pick up any bread this time , but I saw many people have so many breads on their plate .

The  I was wondering how derizious it is . So I tried !

 

Wooooooooow it’s soooooo good !!

I might take it tomorrow too ♪

 

 

Today we performed at the metal festival called METAL MATSURI at 02 Academy Islington in London , England .

Today ‘ s setlist is all instrumental songs mostly from Rie’s new album .

Actually the sound checking for us  was quite short and we almost checked nothing … ; ( So we needed to check while we perform on the stage but it got better little bye little .

There were  Rie’s funs who came from Japan too !

We all played a lot of solo .  I really liked today’s my slap sound ; )!
