Doing everything again…lol

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

Today I took MIX lesson for the first time in a while because I almost forgot how to mix through logic 10 .

With Kato san .

Firstable seems like my laptop is really heavy …I think it’s not too old , but pose really often ; (

I need to manage that problem too …

Anyway today I learned how to put comp for vocal (could be for all other instrumental too tho), Also how to change the volume at the specific part .

after I’ve done mixing I start editing video .

I think …. my face while singing is really ugly … lol

so I tried to future other instruments too not only vocal . ; )

Be ready to be a guitarist !?

I do love to play the funk guitar , I don’t need a solo but rather to play just groove.

While I play the guitar , I feel really comfortable . The sound from the headphone makes me feel I should be a guitar player rather than bass player.

But when I play back , it actually sound horrible !!! lol

I’m happy I can play the bass guitar for living .

If I practice , maybe one day I will become a guitarist on the stage…..?

I need to be ready for the day. So I shot my new artist photo as a guitarist by my self .lol

It’s selfie by timer . Not too bad , isn’t it ?

Start line

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

Today I was practicing drums !!

it’s so much fun !! And release stress !! yeeeeeeey !!! I hope my neighbor will not claim ..! (I’m trying to play only while general people are working tho for avoid noise problem .)

I think generally becoming professional takes 2 years . My first job as a backup musician (bassist ) also took two years after I started playing the bass guitar . Which means , possibly I can be professional drummer to if I really work on it!

Well, I can’t focus because I have other things that I gotta work on too but at least I wanna get on the certain level as a drummer too ; ) !!

Maybe this years target is show up on a stage as a drummer !?!?!? I don’t know yet .lol

I was practicing keyboard too after midnight .

Indonesian beauty

Lol I think …. we kinda look similar , like she also has long hair , I also has long hair , we both play the bass , we both are Asian.

but when I added my video next to her , I noticed like , she is really bright and I am really dark ! lol

I always love to see not only her bass performance , but also her bass face . I can tell she really enjoy it !! I hope I will be bright side one day too… ; ( !!lol

my new gear …?

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

Well…. Since I’ve been stuck at home… too many ideas come up with.

Also .. there are too many things that I wanna get …

This is….

What do you guess ?

it’s electric drums !! lol

Still the good thing is , I have RAKUTEN(online store )card , and I got many points , so I bought by points . but it’s about 400 USD.

I don’t know why, I don’t have job right now at all but I ‘m kinda buying stuff so often (last month I bought guitar with 100 USD).

When I told my mom I got new equipment which is drums , she told me seems like I am rich. Of course not . lol you can imagine how difficult this corona situation is for regular musicians, not stars .

but I’m kinda thinking , this is really good time to get my chops up . So I’m trying to start new things as much as possible. Then , I can get the money back when I nailed it.

Also today I brought my Fender bass guitar to repair.

I mainly use Sadowsky SLAP MASTER , but sometimes like especially when I play old school , not slap ,I need to use this .

I might use this one for a recording this month , so I went to fix.

I’m excited to hear the new sound : ) can’t wait to see the result !!

Gen Hoshino

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

Am I getting chubby because of this quarantine time ? umnnn not sure

but I do eat sweets . lol

yum ; )!!

In Japan, it’s getting trend to collab with an artist called Gen Hoshino.

He wrote a song for this quarantine time. The lyrics is like ” let’s play together from each home . ” He is not only a nice singer song writer , but also actor .

I think in the US , people do everything like actor , model, singer , something like that but in Japan it’s not normal . model is model . singer is singer mainly .

So I respect Gen Hoshino ‘s style!

I also did collaboration , put my bass guitar and beat box !!

Maybe tomorrow

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

Today I was trying something that I got over 3 month ago but never used yet .

Which is iRig HD2

I was always wondering how I can record the video and also audio at a same time but not air recording. line recording.

Because you know even it’s such a simple video, if I care about the quality of sound (not performance .lol) , I should record with audio interface something like that , and take video at a time . but I need to put it together later on laptop.

It’s really pain in the ass !! That’s the reason that I upload video rarely .

But this one, I don’t need to put it together !! And I don’t need to use audio interface . it’s really easy !!!!

but only the problem is I couldn’t hear my bass sound through my headphone.. Maybe i might be wrong something . gotta figure out .

Since I kinda stuck at home because of corona virus , now it’s chance to record many videos ?

I’ll try to use this iRig and take some video ; )
