New video on youtube ; )!

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

Today I uploaded new cover video by All Juna Band on my youtube channel ; )!

This song is the legendary blues man Albert King’s song “The Blues Don’t Change“.

First I heard this song, I thought I wanna play this drums !!

It sounds simple , but I felt so much soul . I was practicing with the original audio , but in fact the timing of snare was difficult for me . If I try to hit the snare a little bit late , always my kick go much more late .lol ummmm

I’ve learned cool Hi-hat technic also fill phrase that I’ve never played .

but …. you know …. The most difficult point is

GUITAR

I tried to copy the phrase , but …it’ s not complicated and fast . but DIFFICULT

I played again and again and again and ×999999999999999999999999 but I couldn’t done the ending guitar solo . So I fade out sooner than original …; (

Now I’m mostly practicing drums day by day , but I should add guitar practice too.

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

I’m working on my new cover youtube video.

Last time I uploaded Al Green’s I Feel Good

This song is up tempo . I think drums was especially difficult for me

(well ,about keyboard I even don’t practice normally , I play only when I record . so let’s skip to say something about my keyboard skills lol)

but the song I’m working on now , I can tell the guitar is the most difficult part ; (

I mean, not technically , but even though I play the same phrase , it doesn’t sound cool at all!! lol

It’s good learning . I might start playing the guitar daily .(now only when I record )

Anyway I do love this song. so I enjoyed the recording .

from now on I edit the videos , and hopefully I can upload tomorrow !

JUNA’s BASStream #2 ~The Blues Xperience~

Hey guys!! I’m a bas guitar player Juna Serita!!

Today I had my weekly live streaming called JUNA’s BASStream !

I kinda wanted to take title for each time . So today is the second time, so I took the theme ” The Blues Xperience “!!

When I started to play the bass guitar , even after I started play some blues , to be honest I was not into blues at all.

I mean, I didn’t hate it , but just didn’t know how to enjoy for both playing also listening .

But one day , I knew a blues man . He is the person who got me into blues !!!!

His name is Stevie Ray Vaughan ♪

You know , when especially young generation get into old school , always there is hook . if it’s blues , nowadays many people love John Mayer, then go to his roots . many people loves Eric Clapton, and then go his roots . So my case , the hook was SRV. And then went Albert King, BBking, Robben Ford etc…

Today I played several his songs , also my original songs .

Through my live streaming , I’m just doing what I like . But also trying to make it interesting , also I hope my peeps will find nice music by my streaming !!

Bad dream ?

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !

Recently I can’t fall a sleep well. If once I got sleep , I don’t get up easily , but just get sleep is difficult and kinda stressed me out ; (

I used to start sleep in the morning and got up like noon . But I wanna reset my life time wanna go to bed and wake up healthier like 11:30 pm to 5:30am.

Also I have a lot of dream . Today’s my dream was , I’ve started Skype lesson officially . But , I got late 7 minutes to the lesson . The people around him ( one of my students ) got really mad at me . And even when I got on a plane , all passenger pointed me and said 『She got 7 minutes late for his lesson ! 』something like that …

sorry that I got late … seems like my name will be changed to “ 7 minutes – late “ .

I hope I will not get late to lessons after I officially start online lessons .

Btw today I was practicing drums a little bit . I ‘m working on 16 beats hi-hat .

Always have sooooo many songs that I wanna play the drums . But most of them are 16 hi hat . I really can’t handle that…

it’s still difficult , but I can tell I’m much better than yesterday . That gives me motivation for keep going : )!

my next live streaming JUNA’s BASStream vol.2 , I might play the drums only one song … I don’t promise , but I’m trying to prepare for that … I’m pretty sure I’ll get seriously nervous . Lol

but I do love to challenge!

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !!

Today I went to buy hard drive (?)

I’d never bought this , but now I do recording and shooting a lot , and more software has been downloaded on my laptop. So totally there is no space to save any more datas .

Each time when it got full, I deleted something old again and again ( some times I even deleted the things I might need later . Lol)

but now I feel so comfortable because I can save my works data more safely ! Yey !

After I fixed my laptop data , I’ll prepare for online lessons ..!

JUNA’s BASStream vol 1

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

Today is !!!!! I had my very first live streaming show called JUNA’s BASStream !!

To be honest , I was kinda nervous ..well, not kinda. I was EXACTLY nervous ! lol

I was preparing till after midnight maybe 2 am and went to bed but couldn’t sleep at all and got worried to oversleep , so got up from the bed at 5 am and practiced , and checked the karaoke track again and again ,etc….lol

But I’m so glad that you guys were really warm . Thanks for letting me be relaxed . Your comments helped me a lot actually .

This is my first live streaming , so for introduction I played all my original songs ; ) !

Mostly from my current album called The Princess of Funk.

These days all gigs got cancelled , so I don’t have any opportunities to see my fans who always come see my shows , but today I even talked the people that I have never met yet in person ! it’s wonderful , isn’t it?

On this JUNA’s BASStream, I enjoy not only playing the bass guitar , but also talking with you guys .

(Well, I haven’t seen anybody for a while. So I was worried whether I can communicate with human .. no matter it’s in English or Japanese .lol)

Sorry sometimes the internet connection went bad, and it suddenly stopped twice maybe …

but seems like 278 people came !?

Thanks !!! And I really appreciated for your tips ; ( ! I checked everybody ‘s name . Thank you .

I know we all are in tough situation these days . Not only a musician . I promise I use the money for meaningful things .

Today I played a lot of slap stuff (because it’s my original song lol), but I’m kinda thinking next time , I wanna play more shibui stuff ♪ (shibui is Japanese word , but seems like I can use it for English too according to internet )
