Today I had a gig with my buddy Rita Nishikawa at Hachioji Butcher !!

I always feel so comfortable to be with her , not only musically but also personally .

The drummer is Murakami-san , we played together last time too. And I met the guitar player for the first time. Nice to meet you Masaki-san.

Today’s set list was mostly funk !! I do love it .

I played a lot of bass solo too.

Double bass

 

 

 

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !

 

You know … I bought a double bass last month but I’ve been stuck on the other projects , so I  couldn’t touch at all .

And yesterday I finally cleaned up my room , so I opened it .

Wow that looks much bigger than I thought …

My first target is playing the double bass every morning . Get it into my routine.

And hopefully I wanna play it in public in this year ; )

Family day

 

 

 

Hey guys  !! I’m  a bass guitar player Juna Serita !!

Finally my days off have come out !

Today my dad and mom  came see me : )!

And we had lunch together .

I saw my parents last month too but feels like it’s been a long time.

Probably I was just missing them too much .

We had a great moment . And we visited my gramma . I’m happy that she looked fine . She had a haircut and it was so cute : ) !!

That was such a nice family day .

at night I checked my Instagram .

And seems like over 200 people started to follow my Instagram through just one day .

I was wondering what happened to my Instagram .

And I found one of my favorite bass guitar players called Scott posted my video on his Instagram ….!!! I never expected…

woooooow in just his fun , so I’m so glad that he found me and say something about my bass play !!!

 

That made me motivated a lot !!!

Today I had a gig of a amazing female guitar player called Rie a.k.a. Suzaku.

She released her own best album recently . It’s all guitar instrumental song.

TOKYO BRASS STYLE @ TCK

Today I had a performance of TOKYO BRASS STYLE at Tokyo City Keiba!

We performed only at the beginning and ending of the event , so there was a huge break time between performances .

Then I ate shaved ice . This is actually made by lemon .

I really feel summer . I enjoyed it .

I became a endorser of Sadowsky .

 

 

 

Hey guy!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

I’m happy to announce about this .

I became a endorser of Sadowsky !

One day, Okada International which is Japanese distributor of Sadowsky  was looking for a endorser for their new bass model called SLAP MASTER .

The bass guitar is focused on slapping , so they were looking for such a great slapper .

And I really appreciate for the great opportunity . And really thanks to Kayo-san who introduced me to them and showed some of my videos to them . She is also great bass guitar player .

To be honest, I was a little surprised because I like slapping as much as finger picking but   I didn’t mean I’m good at slapping , I didn’t know .

However if they think I’m a great slapper , it makes me  motivated a lot to slap !!

Well …  you know I was looking for something special on my bass play and always wondering what my strength is .

Feels like now I kinda understand that must  be slapping through  this SLAP MASTER . : ) !!!

So I’m so excited to build my career with this gear !!!

I recorded my solo album with this bass guitar too.

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I had a performance of TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI at Haneda airport LDH Kitchen .

Today’s vocalist is Rita Nishikawa! My love !

She was wearing damn hot dress . I really respect it !

She sang many songs but the best one was Hallelujah without question .

Everybody said so and even at the rehearsal I thought the same thing.

I felt so comfortable to play with her.

Haneda airport is the place just for trip , but many TGJ’s fan came there .

I really appreciate .

Today I had a vocal recording for my solo album  which will be released on the 16th September !

I know my pronunciation isn’t good , so  I tried to express my feeling with voice instead of words .

From the noon , I had a rehearsal of TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI for August 8 th .

We’re gonna perform at LDH Kitchen Haneda , Tokyo .

Then the guest vocalist it Rita Nishikawa. My buddy ❤️

Come up if you’re around .

 

And at night I had a performance at Giga Bar Tokyo .

Before the audience come up , we had a rehearsal for the song I’ve never played .

The song is Red by King Crimson. I should have learned , but I even didn’t notice it’s on the song list . Lol

It sounds complicated  but the keyboard player Okubo-san give me a chart , so I could start to play with the band after 10 minutes . Thanks !

Omusubi jazz Akasaka

 

 

 

 

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !!

Today I had a rehearsal for my album recording .

This is guitar player TAKOYAKI and keyboard player De-Hi .

The rest one song , I chose kinda programming drum ( loop) , so only me and the member . They always give me some new ideas . Always appreciate that .

 

And at night I had a performance at Omusubi Jazz Akasaka with this member.

It was my firs time to play with the guitar player called Iwa- Chan .

He uses a loop machine . So that helped  us to perform: )
