Mastering

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m  a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I had a mastering for my solo album !!

 

I did nothing , but director .

This is Kato-san, and Minato-san! They were working on my songs mastering whole day.  I can’t thank enough to them ; (

So … Finally we have done the audio !!!!!

I already sent it to the CD press company !!

When I leave the recording studio , Kato san gave me this CD.

My all songs are in it.  I’m so grateful .

 

You know…  I had been working quite hard . I worked everyday , whole day except sleeping time and the time is always within  5hours .

I might be so tired with my life but feels like NOW I totally recovered !!

The day motivated me  a lot .

TGJ monthly gig @ Shibuya Terraplane

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I had a performance of TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI at Shibuya Terraplane.

Today’s guest musician is the sax player called Sakamatcky from Utsunomiya!

It’s been a while since we play together . And also there was a guitar player called Miyano-san.

He is the same age with me . And his job is actually songwriter / arranger .

Heis gonna arrange TGJ’s album which will be released in October .

That was a great jam.  They made may day better .

TGJ’s next gig is on the September 23rd .

MV shooting

 

 

 

Hey guys !! I’m  a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

 

Today I had a MV shooting for my solo project .

The song we perform at the shooting is my album title song.

I ordered to the camera man to make it like a gig . So far not sure how it went but I’m planning to upload the video on my youtube channel on September 3rd  ( Japanese time).

I know it’s too soon . And I really appreciate that the camera guy Kikuchi-san accepted my order.

Can’t thank enough to all .

I’m so glad to have you guys , ladies .

 

 

 

And at night , I had a performance at Giga Bar Tokyo .

 

This is the keyboard player Okubo – san. We always take photos together when we play together .  He told me recently his wife puts make-up on his face (only eyebrow). That’s so lovely . !! Great couple !!

Photo shooting with Amazonica

 

 

 

Hey guy!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita

 

Today I had a photo shooting with a sax player Harumo and the photographer Amazonica !

It’s been a while to see him . He took my current artist photos but now I got endorsement from Sadowsky , so I wanted new ones !  Harumo also needs new artist photos, so we had shooting together .

It was so much fun and I always respect Amazonica’s sense . His has  a greta eyes .

Today’s photos will be my new artist photos , and also CD jacket!! Can’t wait to see the result .

 

 

And at night I had a performance at Omusubi Jazz in Akasaka.

Recently I often play with the vocalist called HIDE he is from Okinawa. handsome and funny . And also a great singer !

I loved his today’s costume btw

Recording day

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m  a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I had a recording for my solo album !!

We recored horns and backing vocals .

This is horn ladies  . Everyone often play with me  ; )

from the left side on the photo, Harumo / Shiori / Chihiro.

I didn’t mean it but they said the horn lines I made is kinda complicated and difficult . but they did great . I really appreciate and can’t believe the sound made by all women . ! I’m so proud of them.

 

And after that , I had backing vocal recording.

I asked two vocalists to sing .

He is Walter Jackson , one day we worked together as backup musicians for an  female singer song writer .

Then I got inspired a lot by his voice .  Sounded like he can handle EVERYTHING.  And at the recording , I order many things but he did everything very easily . Fantastic guy .

 

And another vocalist , Judy !!

Actually now she is my vocal coach. As you know my vocal was terrible but getting better day by day because of her .

I asked her many runs and it was incredible . She sang differently each time and that was variety !!

And I do love her warm voice .

They made my  songs much greater . I’m so  grateful  to have them on my album , in my life.

Anyway , can’t to wait to hear the result !!!!

Yuru jam @ Akasaka Jakaz

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I was hosting a jam session at Akasaka Jakaz.

Everyone can sit in , the level , skill , doesn’t matter !!

Today was kinda special …..

A young talented guitar girl came to jam !!

She is the daughter of my previous student .

I’ve heard about her from my student . So I already knew she can play the guitar well.

But she was much greater than I expected !! She is still 9 or 10 years old but she can handle cords , and also guitar solo . I’m so impressed . Everyone got shocked !!

 

I played drums a song too !

Always fun to play the other instruments ; )

Summer Guitarists Festival @ Kichijoji Silver Elephant

 

 

Hey guys !!  I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!! 

 

Today I had a performance at Kichijoji Silver Elephant .

 

There are 4 guitar players . Hiroka, Yashiro, Higuchi, Yamazaki.

I think they all like metal music . So we played some metal songs , and also fusion .

They all were great ! I enjoyed to play backing bass line with their guitar solo each.

Thanks for coming !!

Now we are planning about Winter Guitarist Festival too !!

Guitar players

 

 

 

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !!

Today I had a rehearsal for tokorrow’s Gig .

Tomorrow we’re gonna have a event called Summer Guitarist Festival at Kichijoji Silver Elephant .

4 guitar players will perform some cover songs and also their originals . If you’re a guitar player or you’re into guitar , that must be interesting .

 

And at night I had a performance at Giga Bar Tokyo .

Today’s drummer was Hatano-san for the first time in a while .

I was really comfortable to play some blues with his drums!!

Feels like recently I hadn’t been playing blues .  And I’m missing it .

French amp

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I went to try a bass amp called VANFLET which is from French .

According to the distributor , It’s not sold in Japan yet . So I’m appreciate for the opportunity to try the bass amp ; )

That sounded nice and I could express dynamics really well .

And they gave me nice VANFLET T-shirts !  I like it ; )

Next time I wanna try the amp with bands and wanna make sure how it sounds ; )

 

 

And at night I had a performance at Giga Bar Tokyo .

 

Today there was a new female vocalist called Nammy .

She also sang one song . Proud Mary by Tina Turner .  That was rock and soulful ! I enjoyed to play with her .

I hope I’m gonna play with her again soon .
