Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !!

 

Today I was hosting a jam session at Akasaka Jakaz .

Some of my students also come there .

I’m happy about it because it was one of their target to join jam sessions .

 

And we celebrated Natsumi’s birthday too.!

She is the host drummer for this jam . She looks like just a cute girl , but her drum is so sadistic ! Lol

Thats the point we do love her drums ❤️

We all always enjoy to play with her .

Shooting & TGJ TRIBECA

 

 

 

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !

 

Today I had a recording / shooting at KORG .

This is the promotion video of their new product .

I borrowed Warwick bass and Aguilar amp there : )

 

It was nice meeting the guitar player Asano – san !

Some people said we look similar  ! Lol

We both have straight  long hair  , we both wearing flower printed outfits , and so on…

I really enjoyed the recording and shooting : ) !!

 

 

 

And after that I had a performance of TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI at Shinagawa TRIBECA.

It’s rare to perform withought guest musicians , just three of us .

Thanks for coming !

Today we performed “If I ain’t got you”   .  I have sang this song but I had never played as bass&vocalist .

It was actually difficult because I really wanna focus on vocal when I sing ballade.lol

Anyway , I’ll keep practice ; )

Getting ready for recording ..

 

 

 

 

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !!

 

Today I had a meeting for my CD recording with band member .

It was such a meanful moment . I’m so glad that I could talk about my song’s arrangement with them .

I’m so excited to have a rehearsal for the recording day after tomorrow : )!

 

And at night , I had a bass lesson .

My student asked me what my T-shirts say.

It’s gifted by TOKYO BRASS STYLE band member .  Kinda funny T shirts ! I feel shy to tell you the meaning of Japanese , so you can just ask your Japanese friend   ! Lol

Today I had a performance at Giga Bar Tokyo in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo.

It’s rare that there are 3 vocalists . Great .

Especially when we played Bohemian Rhapsody , the difference was obvious .  Was really nice .

The keyboard player Okubo-san always takes selfie , and I do love to be on it !!lol

Today I had performance at FARM TOKYO. 

This is outside restaurant in front of Tokyo station  . People can BBQ too.

It’s the second time to perform here .

Today’s guest  vocalist is Rita Nishikawa ! My buddy .

My new gear ….

 

 

 

 

 

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !!

 

This is my new gear ……. !!!!!!!!

I totally had no idea that I buy a double bass today. lol

But this morning a bass player told me there is a cheeper double bass at the shop called TAKASAKI now.  It’s  about 800 US dollars .

So…. I thought if I lose this chance , I won’t be able to buy a doubt bass for 2 or 3 years again….(I already lost the chance 3 years ago .)   Yes,,, it must be the timing….

This is Takasaki san. The boss of the shop . He gave me a lot of advice .

If you want to buy double bass, you should buy here because the maintenance will be free. So helpful , and kind.

I can’t bring it to home yet but it’s coming at the end of month ; ) I’m soooooo excited !!!

 

 

 

 

 

And at night , I had a performance at Hilton Hotel Tokyo.

TOKYO BRASS STYLE @ TCK

 

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

 

In the morning I went to B-CORE Tokyo studio for the first time in a while ‘cause I’d been quite busy .

I took a stretch class and it was wonderful . 

I had felt painful on my ass to back of the thigh for a long time . I always stretch before going to bed but I was not sure how I can stretch on the exact parts ( ass and back of the thigh ) in spite of that I was in many sports club team like karate, Kyudo, baton twirling, basketball,etc.. ( I mean, I thought I already know how to stretch my body much more than other people )

However at the lesson , the way the teacher teach me was incredible!! I exactly stretched THE POINTS . 

I admire her so much . Thanks for the great lesson .

Btw the picture is a machine which can major my stress level . 

According to it , my body isn’t tired AT ALL but my mind ( brain ? ) is stressed out . Lol 

Anyway thanks to my mom . She is the one who made my body strong and healthy . That’s why I can really work hard .

 

 

 

After B-core, I went to Tokyo City Keiba for the performance of TOKYO BRASS STYLE .

We had two stages .

Today’s my costume was blue . 

Last time they gave me a red costume but it was too small for me and I event couldn’t do up the button . ; (

There was no keyboard player

Today I had a performance at Giga Bar Tokyo !!

The keyboard player was absent so I and the guitar player tried to handle the songs which has keyboard parts too.

Like when  the guitar plays riff or melody instead of keyboard , I played arpeggio or cords ..

Anyway , that was a good learning . And the guitar player Takiyaki leaded me gently . Appreciated .

Akaska omusubi jazz

Today I had a performance at Omusubi Jazz Akasaka .

It was the first time I met the pianist Inari-san .

With his piano , I was comfortable to sing .  

And it’s been a while since I and the vocalist Hide sing together !

I ate KAMAMESHI there . 

It was sooooo yum !!

I do love to eat  curry here but also KAMAMESHI is dope !
