Today I had a performance of TOKYO BRASS STYLE at Tokyo City Keiba .

This is  horse race place .

It was really hot outside … I’m molten …

Progressive rock …

 

 

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita !!

 

 

Today I had a performance at Giga Bar Tokyo !

This is the music bar which everyday  hires live band .

I think it’s been over a year since I started to perform here but I still had a song I haven’t learned on the song list ….

That is Roundabout by Yes . Progressive rock . The song is cool , but sounds like difficult , so I was kinda avoiding to play it . Lol   But I thought if I play the song once , it will turn to be comfortable .

So I practice the song little by little day by  day .

And finally I performed on the stage today : )  The song is actually very interesting .

Today’s  keyboard player Okubo san said to me “ This is a pregressive rock song , but now that sounds like funk because of your groove ! Lol “ .

 

ummnnn I hope he meant , good way ! Lol

Today I had a performance at Giga Bar Tokyo .

The vocalist Dai is not only professional vocalist , but also fortuneteller ! lol

I’ve heard from many people that his fortune telling is incredible .

And he augured mine through my birthday and name.

It was interesting because the things he told me was all correct even though I didn’t give him enough information about me . And he gave me some advices too .

According to him , if he uses tarot card ,he can augurs more specific topic . great .

It was a nice experience .

Juna Serita Recording 3

 

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m  a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today finally double bass came my home !!

It’s actually much bigger than I expected ! lol

But I’m so excited to play it !!

Now I’m stuck on somethings , but after I’ve done them I’ll play . Can’t wait to start my double bass career ; ) !

 

And afternoon  I had a recording of my vocal !

There are many things I got noticed . I know vocal is my weak point …. but I wanna sing my original songs by myself because it’s my expression of feelings. That’s why I’m trying to be good….

Anyway I really appreciate to the engineer Kato-san.

I asked some people to do vocal direction for me at the recording but nobody is available . I should have asked earlier .  I just tried my best and Kato-san gave me many advices  . How great he is.

I’m just excited to see how it goes …

Juna Serita recording 2

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m  a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

It was the second day of my album  recording .

This is the engineer Kato-san : )!! He is young but incredible !

Today we record tap sounds with my favorite tap dancer MIU.

She is still 19 years old , but already worldwide dancer .

I came up with the idea to involve her on my abum ,and I wanted to record her tap in August . However I knew she won’t be in Japan in whole august .lol

That’s why I re-fixed recording schedule August to July  .

Now I’m so glad to have her sounds !!! My decision  was right !

Thanks MIU, and have a nice trip !!

 

 

 

And at night I had a gig for Rita Nishikawa at Ueno warrior celt.

This a party for the boss of the company .  He produced  too many popular stuff like pokemon .

He is our producer’s friend . That’s why we are here today . 

And the interesting thing is , our producer Kaneko-san also performed there ! lol He is a drummer actually . And I really respect his dynamics .

TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI @Shibuya Terraplane

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!! 

 

 

Today TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI had a gig at Shibuya Terraplane !

This is our monthly gig , but a little different with usual .

Everyone can join to the performance , kinda jam session . 

Before the gig  we announced the level doesn’t matter but there were almost only professional musicians . lol 

I’m so proud of the of my students because they also joined the session in spite of the situation . And they did great , 

Maybe … they learned from a good teacher …? lol

Juna Serita Rec 1

 

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m  a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I had a recording for my solo album which will be released in September .

The album concept is funk music . All 5 songs are funk music with different way. 

I decided to make the album (actually its only 5 songs, so I should better to say “ EP “) because I wanted to show everything that I’ve learned / felt ever through my life .  I put a lot of my roots on it .

And I want to take  them to the world .  I hope it’ll be my new start line to the next step.  That’s why I wrote all songs in English (even though my pronunciation is suck .lol )

Anyway , the recording went really well because of the awesome engineer and member !

 

I really appreciate to them. I can’t thank enough .

 

After this , we’ll record tap dance , horn, vocal, backing vocal etc… 

I’m so excited !!!

NHK radio

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Today I had a opened recording for an radio program named Anigetchu organized by NHK.

It’s a radio program, but also we performed several songs for the opened recording.

Today’s MiMi ‘s drum solo was incredible ! I’m so proud of her .

That was a fun moment !

And after that , I had a performance at Omusubi jazz .

Yamadandan is a singer-song-writer , and he is jenelus of love song !

He got married a year ago , and there are many songs that I can feel he wrote for his wife ..❤️  That’s so beautiful !

I saw his wife too and she is so sweet .

They made me to want to have husband because they both looked so happy .!! lol

Anyway , that was a nice show . Thanks for coming !!
