Nathan East show in Blue Note Tokyo!

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

I went to see Nathan East show in Blue Note Tokyo with my drummer Emi !!

That was fantastic !! I felt really comfortable to hear those two bass players sound. Their sound type was different but I do love both !!

I just started to play 5 strings today but I realized 5 strings low sound is so nice after all! I do love 4 strings too tho ; ) ! That’s easy to handle anyway .

Nathan’s setting. Only loop machine …?

His performance was dramatic in spite of the fact that his setting is so simple.

I had a meaningful time!!

News…!!!!!

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

I have muscle pains on my lower body from yesterday. That’s such a good thing because my working-out has affected my body !

So, today I focused on my upper body . Arms , breast , upper back, etc…

I hope I’ll have muscle pain on my upper body tomorrow ; )

BTW

I have a big news for you guys actually …!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess no-one expects that…

I ‘ve borrowed 5 strings bass guitar from my bass-mate today …!!!!!!!!!

I already have some gigs that I wanna use it.

Recently my cup of tea about music is changing , that’s also one of the reasons that I got interested in 5 strings bass guitar.　 I want lower sound .

I can’t wait to use it, so excited ♡

What I wanna do … ?

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita.

I take nice proteins and vegetables for dinner today because I’ve been building body ; ) !

I do like Mexican food ♪ I was eating a lot during I was in Los Angels, too ; )

I asked a person to check my English original song lyrics for launching them.(Not soon , tho.)

Actually I don’t write original songs so often. The reason is that I’m usually pressed by work. I couldn’t afford to think about it. And also I couldn’t have a confidence as a songwriter when I look at myself with an objective eye.

However , I reconsidered what I really wanna do is .

Frankly speaking, I wanted to be a bass hero like my idols . Not only as a backup-musician , but also working as a solo artist.

So I ‘m gonna make original songs more . It must be my high priority …..

I have tooooooo much desire , that’s why I have too much on my plate…….

Time flies always .

Restart

Hey guys !! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

Actually I restarted to workout today because summer is coming soon.!! Wearing hot clothes always makes me to have a good motivation about my life. : D

Now I’m 55.3 kg. I don’t mean focus on losing weight , just wanna have muscle tho..

So I went to the gym for the first time in a while . I felt so good after working out.

I hope I’ll have nice butt like her…♡

She has the best ass!!! I wanna eat!!

Katsuo’s Kitchen @ RPM in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

Today I had a jam session at Shimokitazawa RPM as a host member !

Many players came there, that was so variety . Some people played their original songs, some people played old school , some people played just improvisation , etc…

And my friend , percussionist Earl Spencer also came there. This is my first time to play the conga!!!!

Wooooow…. It’s exciting but my hands feel soooooo painful ; ( !!! His sounds are big and fat ! I couldn’t believe it is the same instrument! He is the greatest musician!!

When I play the instrument except bass guitar , I don’t have to feel nervous at all. So I can enjoy it .

Jazz session host @ Takehana,Sasaduka.

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

Today I had a JAZZ jam session as a host member with those cool jazz musicians ; )!!!

It is my first time to be JAZZ session host member!!

I really appreciate the drummer Oe-san ‘s offering★

Not only instrumental players , but also some vocalists came there.

I knew If I play other genre of music, I’m able to meet musicians that I didn’t know before. Interesting, isn’t it?

To be honest , I haven’t learned jazz music much ,only a little bit . However today I felt I wanna do it more and more.

We already have the next jazz jam session schedule!! It’ll be on July 19th .

I’m sure then I’ll be better than now !!

First time

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

I found the score that I wrote when I was a university student. I guess I was 19 years old or something then..

Sooooo beautiful , isn’t it?

I can’t believe that I wrote it! lol

This is Deep Purple’s song called Smoke On The Water.

I’m pretty sure most people have heard this song in their life.

At the introduction , the bass line is quite simple but while guitar solo , the bass part is a little busy. I almost forgot how the bass line is . However the beautiful score reminded me of it.

BTW I’ll have a jam session as a host member tomorrow ( April 12th) at Takehana in Sasaduka!

Excited

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

Now I’m working on recording for new collaboration with the dope drummer Sina from Germany .

I recorded a bass part and vocal by myself for the first time in a while.

After I finish to write score , I’ll send all data to her .

I’m a little afraid whether they will like it or not tho….

I really don’t know anything.

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

Today we came back from Tokushima to Tokyo with a plane .

I didn’t do sight seeing at all but it’s no problem, as usual . I’m only interested in playing music at many places …

During I and Shoka were waiting for the bus to the airport , she let me know her favorite singers. I have played with Shoka for a long time ; however I didn’t know her cup of tea except blues actually .

Those are fantastic!! I feel I wanna listen to the voice all day. It gave me a goosebumps . Shaka is always my great music teacher.

Appreciate my sis!

By the way I went to LABI in Shibuya to buy new earphone after came back to Tokyo ’cause I lost it yesterday….. So sad…..I’m gonna go bananas…..

And actually now I don’t have money enough… Of course I prefer greatest one but my budget is about 2,000 yen( about 20$).

When I was looking for it , a stuff talked to me what I’m look for , and he was curious about my guitar in my back. (It is bass guitar ,tho)

And then we had a lively conversation about our favorite music. He really knows many cool stuff and he let me listen to them with his phone and a speaker sold there.lol

That was such a nice meeting . Of course , what he did is not only telling me nice artists, but also choosing earphones which has nice low sound for me.

People often ask me what kind of music I used to listen to in my childhood . I usually can’t answer well because I didn’t listen to music so often. I was crazy on sports then.

So maybe … I’m kinda beginner as a musician ….

There are too many greatest musicians over the world. I’d love to know more and more …; ) !!!
