Today I had a jam session called “curry club ” as a host member at Okachimachi Jam Session in Tokyo!
I’m not sure why the session is named curry club though…

I think it’s advantage of curry club that many singers come every time .
In my opinion , most jam sessions have instrumental players and they play only instrumental music . Of course singer is also allowed to come there though.
Unfortunately , There aren’t so many bass guitar player today compared with other instrumental player .
Therefore I was playing a lot! lol

Hey guys and gals! This is a new series of a jam session event that I, Simon McDowell will be hosting. It is an all music genre jam just like my “Funky JAAAAM Session” series so whether you like to play Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Blues, Funk, Slump, Reggae, Death Reggae it’s all good! Whether you are a beginner or a pro musician you’re all welcome to come and jam with us and other musicians that come along. It is not a competition! Even if you’re not a musician come hang with us, listen to and watch some great musicians jam out some songs!
The other host musicians will be Juna Serita on Bass and Akira Omino on Keys.
Amps, Drum Set, Keyboard and Piano are provided. Please bring you’re own guitar and drum sticks!
If you happen to be coming after work and don’t want to be carrying around your bass or guitar there are one of each at the venue you can use as well!
