day44~Manila to Baguio~

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

 I had a good trip in Singapore!

Well, I need to take a taxi from Manila airport (Ninoy Aquino International Airport)to Pasay bus terminal for going to Baguio by bus.

However , taking a taxi in Manila airport is so dangerous to tourist . Many people told me  so.  I need to be careful cause here is different with Baguio city.

 

I called the taxi driver I met when I went to Airport terminal 1 on my phone.  But it couldn’t be connected . Maybe there is something problem on my phone or his phone, or his number is wrong ,and so on…

So I decided to take other taxi.  According to the internet, many taxi driver try to lip off . Some Japanese paid 1,800PH, but some Japanese who negotiated paid only 250 PH for the same destination with me.  (I think he is good English speaker ..)

Anyway, just waiting will not bring me anything. I ought to have a go now!!

Then, a white taxi that has customer  showed up in front of me.  And the customer got out of the taxi.    Now, it’s the timing!!

I walked up the taxi driver and asked.

「How much does it cost here to Pasay bus terminal ?」

「Get in!! Lock! Lock!」

I thought he is strange cause he didn’t answer about the cost.

「No! First , tell me !!」

「Okey, I’ll use the mater! Lock! Lock!」

「Why the meter is already 100PH!? Reset !! Right now!!」

The driver didn’t reset then, but a security guard walked up to us . Maybe the place is not allowed to stop. I had no choice but to get in the taxi,and we left there.

 

I asked again.

「I can go to Pasay bus terminal within 200PH, right?」

「・・・・・・・Yes.」

Then finally , the driver reseted the meter .

「Okey, thank you gentleman .」

 

I relieved only a little to hear that.  Although , I should communicate with him  by staying on my guard.

「You speak English well…  Many Korean never speak English. Just body action. It’s so hard…」

「Oh, really? But I’m also not good enough..」

I think he has mis understood I’m Korean.

We arrived the bus terminal.  I checked how the meter is.

 

 

It was

 

 

 

 

only 113 PH.   lol

 

Thanks good driver..   I know there are a lot of bad taxi drivers here in Manila, but I must never forget there are good people ,too.

I think the experience brought me up a notch.

Singapore 4~Botanic Garden~

 

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!!

 

The final place in Singapore I went is  a botanic garden!!

 

It is kinda very big park!!!

 

Although, it’s not just park. It seems that it’s in UNESCO.

I could enjoy the view of nature.

 

The　hill of tree.

Feels like I’m in the world of the ghibli movie MY NEIGHBOR  TOTORO.

I met some squirrels .

Waterfall.

There were many carps there.

 

I like this place.

 

Chicken.

Children.

 

I think I got heather because of the beautiful nature.

Singapore 3~llaollao~

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

Here in Singapore , I knew great sweets shop.

Do you know “llaollao”?

It’s the first time I try.

First, choose the size of yogurt . I chose M cause it can get 3 topping menu.

 

It is dragon fruit , mango, mellon.

 

Singapore has many kinds of fruits. Good!!

 

It is not normal yogurt, this is FROZEN YOGURT.!!

 

However the figure is like ice-cream…. I had a  little doubt if it is really yogurt.

 

Anyway, I had a go!!

FANTASTIC!!

According to the Internet, it came from Spain . And There is the store in Osaka, too. I’m not sure about Tokyo.

 

I hope llaollao will get more popular in Japan, too!!!!!

Singapore 2 ~flower dome~

 

 

Hey guys! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

The second place in Singapore I went is flower dome in Marina gardens.

 

A girl is screaming something under the big mushroom .

Compared with cloud forest  , here is kind of more mysterious .

There are also many types of plants.

Little  cactus .

Something strange placed around there.

 

 

 

Singapore is also in Halloween mood .

Probably , Shibuya is full of the people who wearing special costume by this.

I’m happy I’m not in Tokyo now cause I hate the crowd.

I think Singapore is really peaceful country more than Japan.

When I was in Manila in the Philippines for getting on air plane , I was feeling so nervous.

 

Here is comfortable.  In particular, the thing that there is toilet paper in every bathroom.

Singapore1 ~ cloud forest ~

I went to Cloud Forest in gardens by the bay Singapore!

 

 

 

there are many kinds of plant . I like nature rather than flower. It was full of green, it can make me fine.

 

There are a lot of people . couple, family, friends,etc…

I hope I could take my mother to the place cause she loves beautiful place like here.

Great.

I like here. It was nice choice.

DAY40~trip~

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

Oh last night 25PM, I was at the lounge for self studies. All of a sudden, it would be full of smoke, but I didn’t care and kept studies.  A female Japanese student told the people at the lounge that we need to go outside right now, fire brought out on 4th floor in the dormitory!

R….really?

I was wearing earphone , so I didn’t notice but it was very noisy outside cause almost students gathered there.

According to school manager, it was not exactly fire. Some electric trouble and spark brought out.

 

Finally, we were able to come back to our room around 1 and half hour later.

And today, the all light run off from 9AM to 5 PM.  All water is also unavailable . All bathroom was so dirty…. It couldn’t be helped…

It was really inconvenient cause I had a plan to go to MANILA air port for going to Singapore alone. However My phone’s rest of battery was only 20 %. lol  Of course the flight ticket information is also in it. Above all I’m  foreigner , I’m not familiar with around here.

 

Anyway I tried to save the battery and I didn’t use my phone as possible as I can.

First , I left the school at 6 PM after eating dinner. I took a taxi to go to the bus terminal . It is also first time I take a taxi alone. I didn’t exactly understand where the bus terminal is. However taxi driver is professional after all. He asked where I’ll go with the bus, I answered Manila airport. We arrived there soon. Thanks.

I wasn’t sleep well on the bus cause I was a little afraid if I can get on the airplane without any problem.

When I arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, I asked guards where I should go and I showed my ticket information with phone.

Unfortunately….It was not there…. The airplane will depart from terminal 1, but I was at terminal 3. Then it was 1:30 AM.

The guards told me I need to take a taxi to terminal 1.

I asked him how much it will cost. He asked me how much I can pay ….. lol

I was beside myself with uneasiness of taking taxi in Manila ….I heard they always try to lip off.

I standed on the line for taking taxi , and when my tern was coming, first I asked the taxi driver how much it will cost .  He said 200 PH, he use mater , so I don’t need to be afraid.

Probably I’m lucky to meet nice taxi driver like him.  we had a lively conversation in the taxi. He had lived in Nagoya,Japan 20 years ago.  He said to me  when he meet Japanese guy, he feel happy. I told him that I was really afraid of taking a taxi in Manila cause I heard some bad story from people. According to him also, exactly there are a lot of bad taxi drivers . For instance , even if the appropriate price is 200 PH , some driver demand 2000 PH.lol Sounds like they are too mean.

He helped me, I arrived at terminal 1 surfy.　He said if I wanna take a taxi in Manila,I can call him . And he gave me his number. I really appreciate his kind.  Was awesome middle age man…I realized my type is the over two decades order man  than me after all.♪

Well, I’ll get on air plane.  I’m sure I can have a nice trip.

day39 ~Halloween party ~

 

 

 

 

 

Hey guys! I’m  a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

 

 

Today , Halloween party took place in the school.

In my opinion, generally  Japanese people are not willing to join some event like that . However , all of teachers looked really fun and they spent much time to prepare for the halloween party. I got like Filipinos personality more.

At first, I was wearing short pants but a male teacher said to me that I should change the cloth cause guys are intimidated .  My gosh…Sorry to hear that.   Anyway  I accepted  for his asking. It couldn’t be helped.

And my reading teacher asked for playing the bass guitar in the party me , so I requested a teacher who can play the guitar to perform with me .  We practiced for around 20 minutes.

Then we ware talking about music bar. I asked him if he know the bar CONCOCTION. It’s my favorite. He said he has never gone there .

Teacher「But maybe I saw your video on Facebook .  A girl was playing the bass guitar on the stage, right?」

Juna 「Oh… girl ? It’s me! lol 」

Teacher　「Oh really? You!?」

 

I don’t understand why he couldn’t recognize the girl is me.lol

At the performance, he looked so nervous and also we had some microphone trouble. I hope we’ll play together again maybe next time. ; D

After that , both teachers and students enjoyed BBQ party but there were quite a few people . I was starving and I expected the foods is not good enough . After all, I went to eat at the dining room as per usual .  I’m super glutton in spite of fimale …

day38~new classmate!?~

 

 

 

Hey  guys!! I ‘m a  bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

 

I have a good news, I managed to get other student to attend my night class!!( I was the only student in the class in spite of group class.)

His name is Ichirro, from Japan. He works at the company in Japan and it seems the company’s  boss asked for getting TOEIC score him in three months that’s why he’s been here.  According to the students taking TOEIC course , they usually focus on only exam.  So I thought the night group class can be good for him.

When we arrived at the classroom, There was another guy.  He was taking the class as trial .

It’s for the first time in a while I attend the night group class with someone. They looked kinda fun, I also got happy to see their nice countenance .

When the teacher called it a day, he said to them “See you tomorrow!”, and they also responded “See you tomorrow”.  　Maybe I’ll be able to have classmate♪♪　I’m very happy cause I couldn’t practice for conversation in the class ever .

I’m beside with myself with joy.

Of course. the teacher also looked fun.

I’m relieved and out out of the pressure .lol

day37~alone~

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

 

 

My PC doesn’t work well…. I can sound something strange … What the heck.

I have a lot of date , above all rap top  is too expensive I can’t afford to buy new one with my salary.

I hope it would be okey….Probably the battery has some problem.

 

By the way I have one night group class now. The teacher is only native speaker in the school.  I like his class, however unfortunately the student is only me…lol  It’s  good for me , but I’m pretty sure he feels bored .  I was feeling sorry every time….

Today the teacher asked for inviting other students to the class to me.

I know most students hate to attend late time class . In fact, the people I invited to the class refused my offer. What a shame…

I thing getting someone who will  join the class is hard cause they want to be relaxed at the night.

I’ll keep to find out someone without confidence….

Today I feel so tired And my left eye also doesn’t work well…

day36~exam for change the course ~

 

 

 

 

 

Hey guys!! I’m a bass guitar player Juna Serita!!

 

 

Nowadays , I’d been considering if I change my course “SEMI SPARTA ” to “IELTS”, actually.  I’ve decided I’m about to change.

So I had a enroll test to check my English level today.   I heard IELTS course is  the highest level in this school from many people around me . Japanese manager told me that I’ll have to do much more homework everyday than now, in fact many students are often absent from the class for getting done it.

Probably my course “SEMI SPARTA” is fun all the time cause it’s focused on ordinary conversation . I’m allowed to  talk to teacher without nervousness and I can always choose only simple words such the words I learned in junior high school.

I may  be able to get speak smoothy if I stay at the course . However, it would be just only that. I’m anxious to improve my cultural level of English.

Although , the exam was too difficult more than I expected. lol

I took the test of speaking, reading, writing, listening.

Especially , the reading has too much vocabulary and phrase I don’t understand. Then  I knew how difficult IELTS is .   I answered only 4 questions….  I hope I’ll be accepted to enroll in IELTS course…
